Over the years I have planned and managed dozens of marketing communications programs totaling millions of dollars and spanning years in length. Samples of the successful marketing and communications programs I have managed include:

California Board for Energy Efficiency
Served as the primary communications contractor in the formation and establishment of this state agency charged with responsibility for defining and managing California’s energy efficiency programs under the state’s public benefits legislation, AB 1890.

Harbor Bay Isle Associates
Structured and edited a business plan presented to the board of directors of the General Electric Company.

Pacific Gas & Electric Company
Worked as the primary communications contractor for the R&D Department for over a decade. Designed and managed communications plans and wrote and produced the department’s core communications products including annual reports, technical reports, results flyers, profile documents, technical journal articles, and a quarterly newsletter.

Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)
Conceived and managed communications programs ranging to over $1 million a year for half a dozen departments within the Institute for 20 years. Designed and managed communications plans; edited and processed technical reports to improve their quality and ensure timely production; wrote and produced speeches, technical papers, and audiovisuals.

Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation
Designed and managed media and public affairs programs for the corporation and its Refractories, Industrial Chemicals, R&D, and Energy Efficiency divisions for five years.

Kaiser Refractories
Served as the primary communications contractor on this Division’s spin-off as an ESOP from Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation. Defined new corporate identity and trademark materials, and coordinated internal and media communications activities to establish the new identity in the marketplace.

Sacramento Municipal Utility District
Planned and managed a variety of communications projects for SMUD’s Energy Efficiency Department including design and presentation of a workshop on procedures for responding to requests for proposals.
